WHAT THEY SAID:
Thomas Lemagner (FRA) – men’s Under 18
*“*I felt my climbing was good today. I had a good mindset, and it was pretty cool. I was a little nervous, but it was ok. The goal now is to win and be the new youth world champion. Now I will rest for a bit in the hotel.”
Lucy Garlick (GBR) – women’s Under 18
*“*The boulders were so good. It was nice to have a hard set of boulders and not all jumpy and styley. I actually thought I messed it up on the last one and I would be out but luckily I’m in and I’m really excited for later.
“I think I climbed. Maybe a few mistakes but that always happens in a round of boulders, so I’m happy with how I did. Hopefully I can win now I’m in the final, that’s the big goal, but at least get a medal.”
